Brampton Transit riders who use Route 199 UTM Express are scheduled to have the service back today, Monday, Jan. 5, following a suspension that began Dec. 9.
Eawaz reported that the route’s service was scheduled to resume Jan. 5, 2026. The return date follows the end of Brampton Transit’s holiday service period.
The transit system operated on holiday hours from Monday, Dec. 22, through Sunday, Jan. 4, with reduced service on some routes. That holiday schedule and the Route 199 suspension had different start dates: the express route stopped operating nearly two weeks before the broader holiday service period began.
