Halton Regional Police Service is asking for the public's help locating a missing Burlington man who has not been seen since the morning of Oct. 1.
Kenneth Bosada, 66, of Burlington was last seen in the area of Plains Road East and Maple Avenue at about 9:35 a.m., according to the Halton Regional Police Service.
Police believe he may be driving an older model black Mazda B4000 pickup truck with the Ontario licence plate AX45 809.
Investigators and Bosada's family are concerned for his well-being.
The intersection where he was last seen sits in a busy corridor of south Burlington, near the boundary with Hamilton, an area familiar to many commuters who travel through the western GTA.
Police are urging anyone who spots Bosada, the pickup truck or someone matching his description to come forward. Information can be reported by calling 9-1-1 or the Halton Regional Police Service non-emergency line at 905-825-4777.
Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers by phone at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or online at www.haltoncrimestoppers.ca. Crime Stoppers uses the slogan "See something? Hear something? Know something? Contact Crime Stoppers."
No waiting period to report someone missing
Police are also using the appeal to remind residents that there is no waiting period to report a missing person. A person can be reported missing at any time.
If someone's immediate safety is at risk, call 9-1-1. Otherwise, a missing person can be reported to the Halton Regional Police Service by calling 905-825-4777.
The service says additional resources, ways to assist and information on how to report a missing person are available on the Halton Regional Police Service website.
