Markham residents looking for Christmas gifts will have three days to browse 130 exhibitors when Home for the Holidays returns to Markham Fairgrounds from November 20 to 22, Markham Review reported.
The annual event combines holiday shopping with entertainment. Exhibitors will offer apparel, ceramics, home décor, candles, jewellery, pottery and pet-care products, alongside Christmas foods.
The Baker Street Victorian Carollers will provide musical entertainment, performing traditional Christmas favourites during the event.
Visitors are also encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy to support The Salvation Army’s Toy Mountain. The collection adds a charitable component to the three-day shopping event.
Event producer Debra Grose described Home for the Holidays as a longstanding Christmas outing for families, according to Markham Review. She said some families have been coming together for decades to look for presents.
Grose said the gift selection is Canadian and described the products as distinctive and affordable. For returning families, she said, shopping together at the show has become part of their holiday traditions.
Tickets and further event information are available through homefortheholidays.ca.
