Mississauga residents will have a full slate of live entertainment close to home this year, as the City of Mississauga announced its saugaLIVE 2026-2027 season on September 17.
The season runs at two of the city's cultural venues — the Living Arts Centre and Meadowvale Theatre — and begins this fall, according to the City of Mississauga.
Music, comedy and cultural celebrations on the mainstage
The line-up features a mix of acclaimed artists, comedy, cultural celebrations and family favourites, with spotlight performances scheduled on the mainstage. The city says the programming aims to bring the community together through live performance.
Beyond the headline shows, saugaLIVE includes several limited-series designed to appeal to a range of interests.
TIFF-linked film screenings return
In collaboration with TIFF Film Circuit, the REEL Thursdays series presents monthly screenings of festival favourites and award-worthy cinema. According to the city, select screenings will include special guests in attendance, with 2027 film titles to be announced at a later date. Tickets for REEL Thursdays start at $13.50.
Accessible concerts and intimate jazz
A series of family-friendly, accessible concerts is returning for its third year. The performances feature a variety of musical styles and are designed to embrace neurodiversity and disability while welcoming all audience members. Tickets for these concerts start at $5.
Jazz fans can catch afternoon performances by some of Canada's most notable contemporary jazz musicians in an intimate setting, with tickets starting at $25.
Bundle and save
To mark the new season, the city is offering a saugaLIVE VIP bundle. Patrons who purchase tickets to two or more shows through the bundle save up to 15 per cent on tickets.
More shows will be announced throughout the year, and the complete 2026-2027 season line-up is available at saugalive.ca.
