A motorcyclist is dead after a collision with a sedan at a busy Oakville intersection on Tuesday evening.

Halton Regional Police say the crash happened at approximately 6:43 p.m. on Sept. 29, 2026, at the intersection of Dundas Street and Eighth Line.

The collision involved a motorcycle and a silver sedan, according to Halton Regional Police Service. The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The force's Collision Reconstruction Unit has taken over the investigation.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has dash camera video of the area, to come forward if they have not already spoken to officers.
