Ottawa police are turning to the public for help identifying a suspect in a robbery at a Kanata business last month.
According to the Ottawa Police Service, a lone male suspect entered a commercial premises in the 700 block of March Road on September 12, 2026, at approximately 10:55 p.m.
Police said the suspect told an employee it was a robbery and was given a sum of cash. No injuries were reported.

Investigators are urging anyone with information to contact the Robbery Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 5116, or by email at robbery@ottawapolice.ca.

CAMSafe registration
Police are also encouraging residents to register their information and security camera locations at CAMSafe.ca, a program that helps investigators find nearby footage after an incident.
"Help make your community safer: register your information and security camera location at CAMSafe.ca to support investigations," police said in a news release.
The Ottawa Police Service also maintains a Community Safety Data portal at data.ottawapolice.ca, where the public can view and download data released by the service.
