Ottawa police are asking residents for help locating a missing 14-year-old girl who was last seen late Wednesday at a Barrhaven bus station.
Ivy Trudel, 14, was last known to have boarded her school bus on the morning of Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at around 7:20 a.m., according to the Ottawa Police Service. Friends later saw her at about 10:30 that night at the bus station at RioCan Mall in Barrhaven.
What police say she looks like
Police describe Ivy as a white female, about 5'11" (180 cm) tall, with a medium build and bright pink, shoulder-length hair.
When last seen, she was wearing black pants, a black zip-up hoodie with brown fur trim on the hood, and brown fur boots. She was carrying a black purse.
In a news release issued Thursday, October 8, police said there are concerns for her health and safety.

Anyone with information about Ivy's whereabouts is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service at 613-236-1222, extension 7300. Anonymous tips can also be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 or online at crimestoppers.ca.
Police are also encouraging residents to register their home security cameras at CAMSafe.ca, a program that helps investigators find nearby footage during investigations.
Residents can also view and download data released by the Ottawa Police Service through its Community Safety Data portal at data.ottawapolice.ca, and can follow the service on Facebook, Bluesky, X and Instagram.
