Peel Regional Police are asking Mississauga residents for help identifying a suspect behind a series of robberies in the parking garage at Square One Shopping Centre, including one that left a victim with significant injuries.
Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau believe the same man is responsible for three separate incidents at the mall, according to Peel Regional Police.
The most recent robbery took place on Sept. 3, shortly after 5 p.m., when a shopper walking to their vehicle in the parking garage was approached and robbed of an electronic product they had just bought. The victim sustained significant injuries and was taken to hospital.
Police have since identified two earlier incidents that occurred between May 9 and June 27. In both cases, the suspect approached victims at their vehicles in the parking garage and forcibly took electronic products they had recently purchased. One of those victims suffered minor injuries.
