Niagara police are asking residents for help identifying suspects after a restaurant on Drummond Road, south of Dunn Street in Niagara Falls, was targeted by arson on two occasions.

The fires occurred in the early morning hours of August 26 and September 26, 2026, Niagara Regional Police Service said. Both were quickly put out, limiting damage to the restaurant.

Uniformed officers from 2 District, which serves Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake, responded to the first fire alongside the Niagara Falls Fire Department.

Police said the initial investigation determined that the August fire was deliberately set and involved two suspects who arrived on motorcycles.

A second fire at the same restaurant a month later was also determined to be arson, according to police. Investigators said two suspects arrived on one motorcycle, with one driving and the other riding as a passenger.

Police said the suspect descriptions in the September incident were similar to those from the first fire. The police release did not provide those descriptions or name the restaurant.

Detectives with the 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are handling the investigation. They are seeking information that could help identify the suspects or the motorcycles involved.

Anyone with information can contact the bureau at 905-688-4111, select option 3 and use extension 1009730.

Anonymous information can be submitted to Crime Stoppers of Niagara online or by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Police said the program offers cash rewards for information that leads to an arrest.
