Markham residents planning to attend the city’s inaugural Ontario Honda Dealers Indy weekend can now buy single-day tickets for the Aug. 14 to 16 event, with free general admission offered on the opening Friday.
Markham Review reported that tickets are available for individual days alongside two-day packages, with four grandstand locations around the circuit. The weekend will feature IndyCar, stock car racing and several supporting series.
Admission and seating
Single-day general admission costs $50 for Saturday, Aug. 15, and $75 for Sunday, Aug. 16. Grandstand tickets start at $75 for Saturday and $105 for Sunday.
Two-day general admission is $90, while two-day grandstand seating starts at $120. The four grandstand locations are positioned at points along the circuit selected for their racing action.
General admission on Friday, Aug. 14, will be complimentary through the event’s Free Fan Friday program. Visitors can make a voluntary donation to Make-A-Wish Canada.
What’s on the racing schedule
The NASCAR Canada Series will join the weekend, making its racing debut on the Markham street circuit. Its race is scheduled to close Saturday’s on-track program, following NTT INDYCAR SERIES qualifying.
The supporting lineup also includes USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire and USF2000 Presented by Continental Tire. Both series feature emerging open-wheel drivers.
Emzone Radical Cup Canada presented by Michelin is also part of the Ontario racing weekend.
Paddock access and parking
Fans seeking a closer view of the cars and drivers can purchase access to the Aviva INDYCAR Paddock. A single-day paddock pass costs $60, and a weekend pass is $85.
A $230 Pit Pass includes access to that paddock and to Pit Lane during on-track sessions, except during the IndyCar race. The Metro Supply Chain Support Series Paddock will be accessible at no charge.
Parking passes are also available for three locations: Remington South Parking, designated Green Parking; Enterprise Parking, designated Red Parking; and Remington/Aviva Parking, designated Blue Parking.
Prices range from $35 to $150 per parking pass. All three parking locations provide access to the festival grounds through the west gate entrance near Unionville GO Station.
The ticket options cover different parts of the weekend experience: general admission or grandstand seating, with pit and paddock passes available for additional access. Fans can find further event details and purchase tickets at hondaindy.com.
