The 3 Impersonators, Friday, March 6, 8 p.m.: singers Martin Dube, Steeve Diamond and Sylvie Fortin take on more than 100 voices from popular music with a live band. Tickets are listed from $15 to $63.
What You Won't Do For Love, Saturday, March 7, 7 p.m.: Toronto's Why Not Theatre stages a show featuring environmentalist David Suzuki and Tara Cullis, looking back on their marriage and decades of climate work, with a question-and-answer session afterward. Tickets are listed from $15 to $73.
Walk Together, Children, Sunday, March 8, 4 p.m.: the Nathaniel Dett Chorale performs a program rooted in Black spirituals that also takes in classical, gospel and blues. Tickets are listed from $15 to $63.
International Women's Day
Pink Ribbon Boutique celebration, Wednesday, March 4, 6 to 8 p.m.: expert talks, bra-fitting education and women-led businesses, in support of the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation. Admission is free, with donations welcome.
Women Entrepreneur Tea and Chat, Thursday, March 5, 6 to 7 p.m., Angus Glen branch of Markham Public Library: a free meetup for women running businesses.
International Women's Day conference, Saturday, March 7, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Rouge River Community Centre: the fifth annual event, run by Authentically Evolving under the theme Give to Gain, includes speakers, a fashion show, vendors and a buffet lunch. A portion of ticket sales supports SoloMama LaunchPad, a non-profit that helps single mothers start businesses.
