Mississauga's second weekend of 2026 is built around a motorcycle show billed as the continent's largest, near the airport, with a free family afternoon at City Hall on Sunday. Here is what's on.

The Motorcycle Supershow turns 50

The North American International Motorcycle Supershow returns to the International Centre, 6900 Airport Rd., from Friday, Jan. 9, to Sunday, Jan. 11, for its 50th edition. Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The show fills more than half a million square feet with themed halls for touring, vintage, racing, custom and off-road bikes, along with new 2026 models, used motorcycles, riding gear and live bands. A vintage display brings together about 100 motorcycles from the past century, and custom builders compete in the Canada Cup Championship.

Indoor racing is part of the draw this year. Rounds 4 and 5 of the AMA FIM North America Arenacross Championship run on Friday and Saturday, and amateur riders take over the track on Sunday. Arenacross tickets are sold separately, at $61.50, and include entry to the show.

The mayor's levee on Sunday

The Mayor's New Year's Levee runs Sunday, Jan. 11, at City Hall, 300 City Centre Dr. A meet-and-greet with Mayor Carolyn Parrish and council runs from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the Great Hall, and a DJ skate party with Raptors 905's DJ Andre runs from 1 to 4 p.m. on the Celebration Square rink, with free skate rentals. Admission and underground parking are free.

Check the forecast

Environment Canada has said freezing rain is possible in parts of southern Ontario late Saturday afternoon or evening, possibly lasting into Sunday morning. Check conditions before driving, and before heading to an outdoor rink.
