Residents and motorists using Third Concession Road between Altona Road and Rosebank Road can expect temporary delays during an asphalt resurfacing project, according to a City of Pickering construction notice. The road will remain open while the work takes place.

The city lists November 17, 2026, as the anticipated completion date. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained throughout construction.

Four Seasons Site Development Ltd. is the city’s contractor for the project. The work includes breaking up the existing asphalt, placing a new granular base and laying new asphalt on the stretch between the two roads.

The project also includes restoring existing ditches, installing culverts where required and restoring the boulevard. The notice warns that residents and drivers may face minor disruptions as construction progresses.
