Fans who grew up on Animaniacs can hear the cartoon's songs performed live by some of the people who made them when Animaniacs: In Concert stops at Flato Markham Theatre on Friday, Jan. 16 at 8 p.m.
Who is on stage
The concert features Emmy-winning composer Randy Rogel at the piano, joined by Emmy winner Rob Paulsen, the voice of Yakko and Pinky, and Maurice LaMarche, the voice of the Brain. They perform songs from the Warner Bros. animated series, backed by original projected animation.
The city's event listing pitches the show at adults who grew up watching the series, while noting that children will enjoy it too.
Imagine your childhood coming to life in singalong form. This show is so much fun and guaranteed to beat the January blues.
— Scott Hill, acting general manager, Flato Markham Theatre, to the Markham Review
