The festival runs September 24 to October 3 at theatres and clubs around Toronto, Exclaim reported.

Alongside the headliners, the 2026 edition will feature Brazilian comedian Rafi Bastos and drag star Monét X Change.

Who else is on the bill

The first wave also includes a long list of comedians: Johnny Pemberton, Joel Kim Booster, Joe List, Peter Antoniou, the Lauren & Mary Show (Lauren Lapkus and Mary Holland), Alfred Robles, Caitlin Peluffo, Nick Thune, Rachel Feinstein, Red Richardson, the Sklar Brothers, Ray Lau, Conor Janda, Jackie Fabulous, Emma Willmann and Dustin Nickerson.

A festival with 'the power of comedy'

Sylvain Parent-Bédard, who leads Just for Laughs, highlighted Toronto's place in the comedy world in announcing the lineup.

Toronto has long been an important city for comedy, producing incredible talent and welcoming audiences who embrace bold and diverse voices,

Parent-Bédard said in a statement.

Just for Laughs Toronto celebrates that legacy by connecting artists and fans from across Canada and around the globe. We're proud to be part of Toronto's vibrant cultural community and to continue building a festival that showcases the power of comedy.

When to buy tickets

Presales began Tuesday at 10 a.m., ahead of the general public on-sale, which starts Friday, July 10.

For GTA comedy fans, the festival's 10-day run offers a rare chance to see international headliners alongside rising and local acts without leaving the region.

Additional programming and further artist announcements are expected as the festival approaches its fall dates, with full details available on the Just for Laughs Toronto website.
