School House has been named the winner of the Emerging Artist Showcase at the Boots and Hearts Music Festival in Oro-Medonte, taking home a prize package aimed at launching a country music career.

The competition opened on a Thursday at the central Ontario festival, with up-and-coming performers competing for the top honour. School House advanced through the finals on the Sunday to claim the title, according to SWOMP, which covered the event.

The win comes with a $10,000 cash prize, a single release through Universal Music Canada, and management sessions with RLive Management. School House also receives a Gibson J-45 Special guitar and a VIP tour of the Gibson Garage.

The act is also set to return to perform on the Boots and Hearts stage in 2026, giving the emerging artist a slot at one of Canada's largest country music festivals.
