Pickering dog owners will need to make other plans at the end of the week. The Dunmoore Dog Park will be temporarily closed on Friday, October 30, 2026, while the City carries out lighting maintenance.
According to a City of Pickering notice, the entire dog park at Dunmoore Park will be off limits for the day so crews can rectify remaining light fixture deficiencies.
What's happening
The closure is scheduled for Friday only. The City has not indicated that any other parts of Dunmoore Park are affected.
"Thank you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation," the notice reads.
