Rural road safety

Devine Road runs through a rural part of south Ottawa, where farm traffic and slower-moving vehicles share two-lane roads with commuter traffic. Drivers are reminded to use extra caution around vehicles towing farm equipment, particularly after dark.

Anyone who travelled through the area on Wednesday evening and may have seen either vehicle before the collision is asked to contact police, even if the information seems minor.
