Caledon residents will get their first look at the Town's 2026 budget this week, when staff present an overview of the spending plan to council.
The presentation is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 5, according to a public notice from the Town of Caledon. A copy of the 2026 budget will be posted at caledon.ca/budget ahead of that session, and the Town says updates will be provided throughout the process.
The budget meetings will be hybrid, meaning residents can take part in person or from home. In-person attendance will be in Council Chambers at Town Hall, located at 6311 Old Church Road in Caledon East, while those who prefer to follow along can do so remotely.
What's ahead
Staff will present the budget overview over the coming weeks, the notice states, with a series of meetings laid out in the schedule. Residents who want to track each session can find full details at caledon.ca/agenda.
Beyond the initial overview, the process will also cover proposed amendments to the budget as well as the Town's fees and charges. Those items are listed as upcoming parts of the meeting schedule in the notice.
The 2026 budget will set spending priorities for the Town of Caledon for the year ahead. Residents can review the full document as it becomes available at caledon.ca/budget, where materials tied to the Nov. 5 presentation will be posted.
Anyone unable to attend in person can check caledon.ca/agenda for meeting times and participation details for the remote option.
