A Caledon voting access warning gives residents heading to Victoria Parks Community Centre reason to plan ahead: parking-lot construction and accessibility-ramp maintenance may limit entry for some voters. The Town says people unable to enter because of the work can use curbside voting or another voting location. Town election information

Victoria Parks, at 35 Victoria Crescent, remains listed for October 26 voting day, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Town also identifies Caledon Equestrian Park, 200 Pine Avenue, as an alternative that day. Official election notice

Caledon voting access options

The Town describes curbside assistance for an elector with a disability who cannot physically enter a voting place. An election official can assist within the designated voting area, including its parking lot or curbside. This is a voting option; it does not mean the construction or ramp maintenance has finished.

Ballot-marking devices at selected sites support private, independent marking of paper ballots. Check the locations listed for the day you plan to vote. Accessibility arrangements

Booking a ride to vote

The Town offers free Argo rides to voting locations on October 26 for residents travelling from the three pilot areas: Bolton, Caledon East and Mayfield West/Southfields. This offer is limited to those areas. Town transit information

Book through the Argo app or call 888-401-8252. The operator allows bookings up to two days ahead and recommends advance booking for time-sensitive trips. Its weekday service ends at 8 p.m., the same time voting closes; voters should not assume a ride home after polls close. Advance booking is not a guarantee of an on-time ride: the Town warns that high demand can mean longer waits. Argo booking and hours, Town service guidance
